Dania, Amir Liaquat's third wife, petitions the court for the exhumation of her late husband.

Dania Malik, the third wife of late televangelist and politician Aamir Liaquat Hussain, petitioned the Sindh High Court (SHC) for permission to exhume her husband's remains following his death.

Aamir Liaquat, a well-known politician and television personality, was found dead at his home on June 9—just 9 days after a fight with Dania.

A two-judge bench comprised of Justices Kousar Sultana Hussain and Mohammad Iqbal heard the plea. The court allowed her request to join a similar petition as a party.

According to a lawyer for Aamir Liaquat's family, no markings were detected on the deceased's corpse, and his children did not want a postmortem on their father.
